What are we solving for?


We are solving for households in poverty who are also financially and socially vulnerable through a targeted, multi-faceted, and sequenced model called the graduation approach, which has demonstrated that we can durably pull households out of poverty.

At The/Nudge Institute, we have been piloting this program for the past 3 years and are now scaling it across multiple states. Our purpose is to enable the most excluded individuals to become contributing members of the economy. We will

Enable government to adopt by providing research, design, and implementation support Continue to iterate on the program design to create impact at scale through our own implementations Support more NGOs in adopting graduation approach by offering technical expertise and capacity building Build evidence on graduation approach to nudge governments to adopt at-scale Develop technology solutions that enable NGOs and governments to adopt and implement the program at scale & with quality

Position Overview

What will you do?

Define and drive product strategy by translating program needs into a clear roadmap with measurable milestones. Lead user research to deeply understand field staff, beneficiaries, government users, ensuring an intuitive and scalable product experience Drive adoption within operations teams by designing onboarding, training, and change management plans, and monitoring adoption metrics Collaborate with government stakeholders to secure buy-in, drive product adoption at scale, and align improvements with policy priorities Identify high friction operational processes and implement technology tools or integrations to automate and streamline workflows Use data and analytics to track product performance, adoption, and impact, and to inform continuous improvement decisions Lead cross-functional collaboration between product, engineering, operations, and external partners to ensure alignment and smooth delivery Build and mentor a high-performing team that champions user-centricity, innovation, and operational excellence

Who are we looking for in this role?

10+ years of work experience in product strategy, consulting, product management, or entrepreneurial roles Ability to learn, iterate and pivot based on new information or constraints Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills Passion and hunger for solving big social problems at scale Growth mindset to learn new concepts and evolve teams' thinking Ability to influence and collaborate with stakeholders Written and spoken fluency in Hindi and English Willingness to stay and travel in deep rural areas
