Your New Role





The Senior, Product Management, ITOM ITAMwill play a pivotal role in the Service Management organization, focusing on the strategic development and evolution of IT Operations Management (ITOM) and IT Asset Management (ITAM) solutions on the ServiceNow platform. This position will be based in

Hyderabad

and will report into the

Enterprise Service Management (ESM)

office. As a core member of the Enterprise Service Product Management team, the Senior Product Manager will partner closely with business stakeholders, platform engineers, and Service Management Engineering teams to shape and deliver product roadmaps aligned with business needs and enterprise strategy.



This role will focus on optimizing the IT Operations Management (ITOM) and IT Asset Management (ITAM) capabilities within the ServiceNow platform. The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in product management within the ServiceNow ecosystem, with specific experience in ITOM and ITAM modules, and a strong grasp of service management best practices. This role demands a strategic thinker with a hands-on approach to demand shaping, roadmap execution, and platform alignment.


Your Role Accountabilities:

Product Strategy & Vision



Define and evolve the product vision and strategy for ITOM and ITAM domains, ensuring alignment with enterprise service management goals and business needs. Develop multi-year roadmaps for product capabilities, prioritizing initiatives based on value delivery, feasibility, and platform standards. Evaluate market trends, vendor roadmaps (ServiceNow), and stakeholder feedback to identify future opportunities for growth and improvement. Serve as a subject matter expert for ITOM/ITAM capabilities within the broader enterprise product portfolio.

Stakeholder Engagement & Demand Shaping



Engage with business stakeholders across functions to understand pain points, collect requirements, and validate priorities. Facilitate demand shaping sessions to refine ideas into clear, actionable user stories that reflect real business value. Champion a collaborative, iterative approach to product development, ensuring stakeholder buy-in and satisfaction. Act as a key liaison between business teams, Service Management Engineering, and Platform Engineering to maintain alignment and transparency.

Delivery & Execution



Translate product strategies into prioritized backlogs in collaboration with process management, engineering and platform teams. Participate in sprint planning and Agile ceremonies to ensure timely and high-quality delivery of product features and enhancements. Track delivery metrics and KPIs to assess product performance and inform continuous improvement. Identify and resolve delivery impediments, working across teams to remove blockers and streamline execution.

Platform Alignment & Operational Excellence



Ensure ITOM and ITAM products are developed and maintained in compliance with ServiceNow platform standards and enterprise architecture. Partner with Platform Engineering to manage technical debt, maintain system integrity, and support sustainable delivery. Foster a culture of operational excellence by driving process improvements, automation opportunities, and platform efficiencies. Maintain product documentation, release notes, and configuration standards to support audit readiness and ongoing maintenance.
Qualifications & Experiences:

5+ years

of experience in product management, with at least 3 years in managing ServiceNow-based solutions, preferably in ITOM and ITAM domains. Proven track record of delivering enterprise-scale platform solutions in a complex, matrixed organization. Strong understanding of IT service management principles, particularly ITIL, and the ServiceNow platform capabilities. Demonstrated ability to drive stakeholder consensus, manage competing priorities, and deliver value through agile methodologies. Experience in demand management, backlog grooming, sprint planning, and agile product development lifecycle. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to translate complex technical requirements into business language. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or related discipline (MBA or advanced technical degree preferred).

Not Required but Preferred Experience:

ServiceNow certifications in ITOM, ITAM, or Certified System Administrator. Product management certification (e.g., CSPO, Pragmatic Institute). ITIL v4 Foundation or higher-level certification (Managing Professional or Strategic Leader). Experience working in global enterprises or highly regulated environments.
