Job Description

We are looking for a Senior Product Designer with 4-5 years of experience in the home decor space, with expertise across multiple product categories such as lighting, candle warmers, textiles, decorative accessories, and tabletop items. The ideal candidate will lead holistic design development from initial concept through production, balancing aesthetics, functionality, and manufacturability. This role requires a strong understanding of market trends, materials, and user experience, combined with advanced skills in artificial intelligence tools for concept visualization before moving to CAD and technical drawings.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead concept development and design execution across diverse home decor product categories including but not limited to lighting, candle warmers, pillows, throws, and decorative accessories

Utilize artificial intelligence tools to create and refine visual concepts, enabling rapid ideation and iterative improvements before CAD modeling and prototyping

Produce detailed sketches, 3D models, prototypes, and technical documentation for new product lines

Conduct market and trend research to inform innovative, consumer-focused designs

Collaborate cross-functionally with product development, engineering, sourcing, and marketing teams

Ensure designs comply with safety, regulatory standards, and sustainable manufacturing practices

Mentor junior designers and contribute to team design reviews and process improvements

Manage multiple projects and timelines efficiently while maintaining high-quality design output

Present design concepts and rationale clearly to stakeholders

Qualifications:

4-5 years professional experience in product design within the home decor space across various categories, including lighting and candle warmers

Proficient in CAD software (SolidWorks, Rhino, etc.), Adobe Creative Suite, and 3D rendering tools

Experience with artificial intelligence-based design and visualization platforms such as Midjourney, DALLE, Adobe Firefly, or generative design tools like Autodesk Generative Design

Strong portfolio demonstrating innovative, commercially successful home decor products across multiple categories

Deep understanding of materials, manufacturing processes, and product lifecycle for consumer goods

Excellent communication, organizational, and project management skills

Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving abilities

Bachelor's degree in Industrial Design, Product Design, or related field

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹60,000.00 per month
