Sr. Product Design Engineer

to join our Design & Engineering team. This role is ideal for professionals with

5 - 10

years of experience

in mechanical design, preferably in the

elevator or manufacturing industry

. The position requires advanced knowledge of design software, production processes, and a deep understanding of engineering standards. You will be responsible for leading complex design projects, mentoring junior team members, and ensuring high-quality deliverables.

Roles & Responsibilities:

Design and develop new elevator components and systems from concept to production Create accurate 2D and 3D production drawings using AutoCAD and SolidWorks Prepare detailed

BOMs

and perform cost estimations for new and existing designs Review and approve design drawings for quality and compliance Develop and maintain

installation manuals

technical catalogues

, and other documentation Ensure all designs are manufacturable and meet industry standards Lead product validation through simulations and design calculations Collaborate with cross-functional teams and vendors for design implementation Conduct feasibility studies and assess design performance, safety, cost, and timelines Mentor junior engineers and contribute to process improvements in the design team

Skills Required:

Strong leadership and team collaboration skills Advanced proficiency in

AutoCAD

and

SolidWorks

(3D Modelling, Sheetmetal) Experience with

SolidWorks Composer

for documentation Proficiency in

MS Office

- Excel, Word, PowerPoint Working knowledge of

ANSYS

or other simulation tools Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities Good communication skills - verbal and written Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines

Eligibility Criteria:

Qualification: B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical / Mechatronics / Automobile Engineering Experience:

5 - 10 years

in Mechanical Design (Elevator or Machinery Industry preferred) Location Preference: Candidates from Mumbai, Navi Mumbai, or nearby areas
