As a Senior Product Associate in Marketing Automations Platforms, you contribute to the team by leveraging your expertise in product development and optimization to make a significant impact, supported by user research and customer feedback to fuel the creation of innovative products and continuously improve existing offerings. Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams and play a crucial role in shaping the future of our products and ongoing success.
Job responsibilities
Partners with the Product Manager to identify new product opportunities that reflect the needs of our customers and the market through user research and discovery
Considers and plans for upstream and downstream implications of new product features on the overall product experience
Supports the collection of user research, journey mapping, and market analysis to inform the strategic product roadmap and provide insight on potential product features that provide value to customers
Analyzes, tracks, and evaluates product metrics including work to time, cost, and quality targets across the product development life cycle
Writes the requirements, epics, and user stories to support product development
Drives discovery for new lines of business, capturing key requirements and writing user stories for the development teams
Challenges current methods and procedures to identify inefficiencies and opportunities for growth
Enhances communication between development and business leads so that "asks" and "solutions" are clearly understood by both sides
Is a center for knowledge having a deep curiosity about marketing operations and able to communicate what has been learned to other team members
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
3+ years of experience or equivalent expertise in product management or a relevant domain area
Proficient knowledge of the product development life cycle
Experience in product life cycle activities including discovery and requirements definition
Developing knowledge of data analytics and data literacy
Worked with enterprise level applications from Proof of Concept to maintenance of mature environments
Excellent communication skills comfortable talking to business leads at various levels while also being able to document requirements in formal agile story form
Developed Business Process Maps in Visio and other like tools and be able to talk to the process
Experience working in Agile environment and with Agile project methodologies and tools including JIRA
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
Recognized thought leader within a related field
Martech experience
Experience with Camunda BPMN; Pega; Adobe Workfront;
Expertise with the Atlassian suite
Experience with executive communications
A customer obsessed individual with the ability to build and maintain good, productive relationships with engineers and technical partners, and an ability to translate customer needs into clear product delivery or technical requirements.
Experience managing products for technical platforms and/or data-focused capabilities. Individual with good understanding of technologies including API, Microservices, AEM, Javascript, AWS, etc.
