Position Overview Based at BanoPuratos in Lebanon, we are currently seeking a: Senior Procurement Officer (Bshamoun) Comply with the agreed procurement strategies and plans to obtain best value for money and sustainable cost reductions from expenditure on goods by monitoring day to day procurement cycle, policies. Responsible for monitoring stock levels and identifying purchasing needs. Key Accountabilities Support the Procurement Manager in conducting strategic plan for the department. Prepare stock analysis report taking into consideration movement of items and feedback from Area Sales Managers and submit it to the Procurement Manager on a timely manner. Coordinate requisition process by reviewing the submitted proformas and quotations, issue purchase orders, and other documents related to the procurement function. Maintain accuracy of purchase order including items, quantities, due dates, special instructions and terms, conditions, and receipt dates. Verify current inventory levels and keep records to prevent inventory gaps (for warehouse of expenses). Prepare daily reports requested by the Procurement Manager on the procurement cycle in order to ensure product delivery according to the time scheduling. Maintain an updated database with accurate information about suppliers. Enrol all upcoming shipments with necessary insurance if needed in order to avoid any damages or loss in transit. Check for best freight offers assuring best cost vs service and lead time. Ensure that all special orders are signed by customers and placed on the ERP system. Maintain an updated folder for COA, TDS and different certificates related to quality, to provide to legal authorities or customer service department if needed. Review and confirm all shipping documents to provide to customs clearance agent assuring full sets to avoid any delay in clearance or extra fees. Follow-up and communicate with suppliers about updates, order status, material specifications, inquiries, claims and other issues. Follow up on agreed contracts with suppliers to be sure that all clauses are covered. Coordinate and communicate with colleagues to ensure smooth workflow. Profile 3 to 6 years of stock management or goods purchasing experience. Bachelor degree in Finance, Accounting, or any related field. Fluent in English, Arabic, French is a plus.
