We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Purchase Executive to join our team and oversee procurement activities within the Interior Design and Architect vertical. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, excellent negotiation skills, and a thorough understanding of the procurement process within the interior design industry.

Responsibilities:

Develop and implement procurement strategies to ensure timely and cost-effective sourcing of materials, products, and services required for interior design projects. Identify reliable suppliers, negotiate contracts, and maintain relationships to secure favorable terms and pricing. Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand project requirements and specifications, and proactively source materials that meet quality standards and design expectations. Monitor inventory levels and manage stock replenishment to prevent shortages and delays in project timelines. Conduct market research and stay updated on industry trends, pricing fluctuations, and new product developments to inform purchasing decisions. Evaluate supplier performance based on key metrics such as quality, delivery reliability, and cost-effectiveness, and implement improvement strategies as needed. Prepare and maintain accurate records of purchases, contracts, and supplier agreements, ensuring compliance with company policies and regulations. Work closely with the design and production teams to coordinate delivery schedules, resolve supply chain issues, and support project execution. Provide leadership and guidance to junior procurement staff, fostering a collaborative and results-driven work environment. Stay abreast of industry best practices and emerging technologies in procurement and supply chain management, and recommend process improvements to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field. Proven experience in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain management, preferably within the interior design, architecture, or construction industry. Strong negotiation skills with the ability to secure favorable terms and pricing from suppliers. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with internal stakeholders and external suppliers. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with procurement software or ERP systems. Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data, identify trends, and make informed decisions. Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and thoroughness in all aspects of work. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines. Leadership qualities with the ability to mentor and develop junior staff members. Commitment to professionalism, integrity, and ethical conduct in all business dealings.
