Overview

Due to our on-going success securing large-scale projects for 2023, we have a requirement for Senior Process Safety Consultant Engineer join our Process Department Bangalore.
Responsibilities
Your day-to-day role would involve the following activities
- Process Hazard Analysis: HAZID, Hazard and Operability (HAZOP), LOPA/SIL reviews
- Hazardous Area Classification (HAC)
- Seveso III/Safety Report Preparation
- Toxic Dispersion/Fire/Explosion Modelling. DNV-Phast software knowledge is an advantage
- Process Safety Calculations e.g. Relief Valve Sizing
- Dealing directly with client representatives, equipment vendors and multidiscipline engineering colleagues to obtain the required information and to resolve process safety issues
Qualifications
We would like to hear from candidates who have:
- A degree in Chemical or Process Engineering.
- Chartered or working towards Chartered Status
- Excellent awareness of process safety engineering and process safety management
- Experience in ATEX/DSEAR
- Excellent knowledge of EU health & safety legislation
- Good interpersonal and communication skills essential.
- Minimum 15 years\xe2\x80\x99 experience, with over 20 years preferred, in Pharmaceutical / Biopharmaceutical process design, preferably with an EPC firm working on PFDs, P&IDs, Equipment sizing and PRD calculations.
- Design experience with clients from Europe and the USA is an advantage.
