We are seeking a talented individual to join our Data Analytics team at Marsh McLennan. This role will be based in Mumbai. This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office.
Senior Principal Engineerxe2x80x93 Data Science
We will count on you to:
Design and implement data analytics products to solve complex business problems and drive strategic outcomes.
Utilize strong conceptual skills to explore xe2x80x9cArt of the Possible" in analytics, integrating data, market trends, and cutting-edge technologies to inform business strategies.
Manage and manipulate large datasets from diverse sources, ensuring data quality through cleaning, consolidation, and transformation into meaningful insights.
Conduct exploratory data analysis (EDA) to identify patterns and trends, reporting key metrics and synthesize disparate datasets for comprehensive insights.
Perform rigorous quality assurance (QA) on datasets, ensuring accuracy, logical consistency, and alignment with analytical dashboards.
Automate data capture processes from various sources, streamlining data cleaning and insight generation workflows.
Apply knowledge of insurance claims, policies terminologies to enhance analytical models and insights.
Develop Automation Solution for generating reports using tools such as Python, GenAI and ChatGPT APIs ensuring efficient and optimized code.
Communicate complex data-driven solutions clearly and effectively, translating technical findings into actionable business recommendations.
Having knowledge around Power BI/LLM/RAG will be preferred
What you need to have:
Bachelorxe2x80x99s degree in engineering / Analytics or Masterxe2x80x99s Degree in Statistics/Computer Applications/ IT/Analytics /any discipline related to Data visualization / Analytics.
1-6 years of progressive experience in Data Science
Hands-on exp. in Python (advance knowledge), GenAI, Excel - Intermediate and good understanding of BI tools xe2x80x93Power BI
Technical expertise with data models, data mining, and segmentation techniques
Strong consulting experience and stakeholder management
Basic to intermediate visualization experience in Power BI
Excellent with data understanding, transformation and EDA
Keenness and urgency to learn about the Marsh and the business unitxe2x80x99s business, and insurance industry in general
