We are looking for a highly experienced Senior Firmware Engineer with deep expertise in SerDes firmware development and strong exposure to DSP concepts. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of designing, developing, and optimizing firmware for high-speed serial interfaces in complex hardware environments.
This is a senior, hands-on role requiring strong ownership, technical depth, and the ability to work closely with hardware and systems teams. Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain firmware for SerDes (Serializer/Deserializer) systems
Implement and optimize DSP algorithms used in high-speed serial communication
Work closely with hardware, validation, and systems teams to ensure seamless integration
Debug and resolve complex firmware and signal integrity issues
Participate in architecture discussions and technical decision-making
Ensure high performance, reliability, and scalability of firmware solutions
Support bring-up, testing, and validation of new silicon or platforms Must-Have Qualifications
15+ years of experience in firmware development
Strong hands-on experience in SerDes firmware development
Solid understanding of DSP concepts as applied to high-speed interfaces
Extensive experience working close to hardware (low-level firmware)
Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech or equivalent) Preferred / Nice-to-Have Skills
Advanced DSP knowledge
Experience with high-speed interfaces and signal integrity concepts
Prior work in semiconductor, networking, or high-performance computing domains Additional Information
