Purpose of the role: As a Senior Principal Data Architect, Standards & Flow, you will contribute to modelling BR\'s conceptual data and business architecture and ensure its alignment with data ingestion business processes. In this context you will model BR\'s scientific entities required for successful data analysis and machine learning development using semantic concepts. You will also ensure that the flow of ingested data adheres to our data integration standards thereby playing a crucial role in ensuring the FAIRness of external data assets BR acquires. Key Responsibilities: Support the implementation & adoption of enterprise data management principles related to Data Architecture to achieve higher data maturity Contribute to further developing, maintaining, and governing BR\'s overall data architecture Manage domain specific data, by Mapping of physical data repositories to logical data domains Cataloging data entities and support other metadata management activities to enable data discovery Ensuring products and technology are aligned to BR\'s data-centric architecture Collaborating closely with BR solution architects to design products that comply to domain standards Supporting the definition and tracking of key performance measures related to data architecture deliverables Defining and maintaining data landscape/dataflows for BR Providing data architecture trainings, coaching and expert level advise Customize and adopt enterprise data policy, data management (DM) framework, guidelines and standards for BR and execute the adoption roadmap for maturing the data management practice Work closely with stakeholders to ensure the external data ingestion process and its related data architecture are aligned and implemented adhering to our data and technical standards Evangelizing the principles of data-centricity across stakeholders and work closely with them to elevate their data into BR\'s information model Commitment to Diversity & Inclusion: We are committed to building an outstanding, inclusive work environment and diverse teams representative of the patients and communities we serve. Role Requirements Education & Qualifications Bachelor university degree or higher Experience 10+ Yrs. experience in data management disciplines and a good understanding of their core requirements and challenges Ability to translate real world entities into conceptual data objects using semantic principles and tools Familiarity with business concepts and processes used in a dynamic, fast changing life science environment based on working experience in life science domains like biology or chemistry Certification or demonstrated experience in ArchiMate (required) or BPMN (optional) and corresponding modelling practices using tools like ADOIT and ADONIS, respectively. In addition, we are looking for someone who has an independent, fast learning, team player attitude, someone who has a track record of successful collaborations with scientific and informatics communities. We envision for this role someone who can express the BR data architecture guidelines verbally and in writing, and who can listen to external scientific and technical partners and to translate their requirements into our data modelling language.
