Inviting applications for the role of Senior Principal Consultant, SAP S4 HANA IS Retail - Procurement!
The S/4HANA IS-Retail Expert (Procurement) is responsible for designing, configuring, and supporting SAP S/4HANA Retail solutions focused on procurement processes. This role ensures efficient vendor management, purchase order processing, and integration with merchandising and supply chain systems to enable smooth retail operations.
Responsibilities
Solution Design & Configuration
Configure SAP S/4HANA IS-Retail procurement modules (Purchase Orders, Contracts, Vendor Master, Source Lists).
Implement processes for vendor onboarding, purchase requisitions, and approvals.
Align procurement workflows with merchandising and inventory management.
Integration
Integrate procurement processes with finance, supply chain, and warehouse systems.
Collaborate with merchandising teams for seamless article and vendor data flow.
Data Management
Maintain master data integrity for vendors, purchasing info records, and conditions.
Support data migration and cleansing during project phases.
Process Optimization
Analyze procurement workflows and recommend automation and efficiency improvements.
Enable real-time reporting for purchase order tracking and vendor performance.
Support & Training
Provide Level 3 support for procurement-related SAP issues.
Conduct workshops and training for procurement and merchandising teams.
Qualifications/Skills we seek in you!
Minimum Qualifications
Graduation: B.Tech/B.E, MBA/MCA
Technical Expertise
Strong knowledge of SAP S/4HANA IS-Retail procurement functionalities.
Experience with Purchase Orders, Contracts, Vendor Master, and integration with merchandising.
Familiarity with Fiori apps and procurement analytics
Domain Knowledge
Understanding of retail procurement processes (vendor management, sourcing, purchase order lifecycle).
Exposure to omnichannel retail operations and supply chain integration.
Experience
SAP Retail implementations.
At least 2 full-cycle S/4HANA retail projects with procurement focus.
Preferred Qualifications
SAP Certification in S/4HANA Retail or MM (Materials Management).
Experience with SAP Ariba or SRM integration.
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
