The

Senior Preschool Teacher

plays a crucial role in shaping early childhood education by guiding young learners and mentoring junior teachers. They are responsible for creating a nurturing, engaging, and developmentally appropriate learning environment that fosters children's cognitive, social, and emotional growth.

Key Responsibilities

Curriculum:

Implement a progressive and culturally appropriate curriculum that aligns with early childhood education standards.

Classroom Management:

Establish a safe, structured, and stimulating learning environment that encourages exploration and creativity.

Teaching & Learning:

Utilize innovative teaching methods to engage children in interactive and meaningful learning experiences.

Mentorship & Leadership:

Guide and support junior teachers, ensuring best practices in early childhood education.

Child Development Monitoring:

Observe, assess, and document children's learning progress, behavior, and social interactions.

Parental Engagement:

Communicate effectively with parents, providing insights into their child's development and fostering strong partnerships.

Professional Development:

Stay updated with the latest trends in early childhood education and participate in training sessions.

Health & Safety Compliance:

Ensure adherence to safety protocols and create a secure environment for children.

Qualifications & Skills

Bachelor's or Diploma in

Early Childhood Education

or a related field. Minimum

2-5 years

of experience in preschool teaching. Strong understanding of child psychology and developmental milestones. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Leadership and mentoring abilities. Creativity in lesson planning and classroom activities. Patience, empathy, and a passion for early childhood education.

Work Environment

Typically operates in a

preschool or early learning center

setting. Requires interaction with children, parents, and fellow educators. May involve occasional weekend events or parent-teacher meetings.

Pay: ₹12,000.00 - ₹18,000.00 per month
