We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated

Senior Presales Consultant

to lead solutioning, technical engagement, and presales activities for FCI's CCM Platform (VARTA) and Digital Engagement Suite.


This role requires strong expertise in Customer Communication Management, digital engagement technologies, and deep domain understanding of the Banking, Financial Services, and Insurance (BFSI) sector.


You will collaborate closely with Sales, Product, Delivery, and Marketing teams to drive deal success through architecture design, demos, PoCs, and comprehensive solution proposals.

Roles and Responsibilities:







Sales & Customer Engagement Support: -



Participate in customer meetings to understand business needs, regulatory requirements, and technical expectations. Present product capabilities, competitive differentiation, and domain-relevant value propositions. Deliver customized demonstrations of the FCI VARTA CCM platform and related modules. Conduct fit-gap assessments to match customer requirements with product capabilities. Support EOI/RFI/RFQ/RFP/SOW processes, technical questionnaires, and compliance documentation.
Engage with BFSI clients to articulate solution value and drive deal conversions.

Solution Design & Architecture:-



Translate functional and technical requirements into robust solution architecture (HLD & LLD). Develop workflows, integration diagrams, scalability architecture, and deployment models (Cloud/On-Prem). Define infrastructure sizing, API/microservices integration strategy, and data flow design. Provide cloud infra inputs across major CSPs (AWS, Azure, GCP - IaaS & PaaS).
Ensure alignment between proposed solutions, product roadmap, and technical feasibility.

POCs, Pilots & Prototyping



Own end-to-end execution of PoCs including planning, setup, tracking, and closure. Work with engineering teams to configure templates, communication journeys, rules, and automation workflows.
Showcase technical success metrics and demonstrate measurable business impact.

Documentation & Proposal Support:-



Prepare technical proposals, functional specifications, effort estimates, SOW inputs, and BOMs. Develop customer-facing collateral including architecture decks, demo scripts, PoC plans, and ROI documents. Document and articulate business and functional requirements for internal stakeholders.

Cross-Functional Collaboration:-



Collaborate closely with:

Sales - for opportunity planning, workshops, and bid support Product - for enhancement inputs and competitive benchmarking Delivery - for solution feasibility and validation
Marketing - for technical content, case studies, and solution narratives

Thought Leadership & Domain Expertise:-



Maintain deep knowledge of CCM, Cpaas, MarTech, CRM, and digital engagement ecosystems. Stay updated on BFSI industry regulations, compliance, market trends, and communication technologies. Provide internal training and enablement for sales, consulting, and field teams. Influence product roadmap through market feedback and prospect interactions.

Requirements



Desired Experience:-



Bachelor's degree in engineering, Computer Science, or related field. 7-12 years in Presales / Solution Consulting in CCM, Cpaas, MarTech, CX, or BFSI applications. Willingness to travel for client meetings, PoCs, workshops, and onsite engagements. Strong domain expertise across Banking, Financial Services, Insurance, NBFC sectors. Experience in communication systems within MarTech, Cpaas, or CCM environments. Ability to operate effectively in ambiguous, dynamic business environments. Strong documentation, proposal writing, and solution storytelling skills. Proven capability in analyzing BFSI business processes and mapping them to product workflows. Exceptional customer-facing communication, presentation, and storytelling abilities. Strong experience in RFP/RFI responses, bid defense, and technical documentation. Hands-on experience with REST APIs, microservices, webhooks, integration frameworks, and container deployments (Docker/Kubernetes). Ability to design HLDs/LLDs, integration architecture, data flow diagrams, and deployment models. Experience with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP) compute, storage, networking, and security. Exposure to template design tools (FCI Designer, Exstream, Smart COMM, Quadient, etc.). Fundamental understanding of DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud-native deployments.
