Role Description

As part of developing a Change Management Practice in India we are looking for strong candidates who can work across a variety of Technology projects/programmes across the organisation.

The Senior PMO Lead will coordinate and lead the PMO services for key delivery projects and programmes in the portfolio, including project management support, project governance and control services within Technology division of LSEG.

The roles sits within the Technology division of LSEG.

The role requires strong alignment and collaboration with all the Technology divisions, as well as Transformation Management Office and Finance.

Key Responsibilities

Creates and maintains the delivery schedule, milestones and tasks in the relevant scheduling tool(s) and supports the identification and management of dependencies, delivery risks and issues and tracks status through the maintenance or risks and issues logs.

Provides quality assurance and project status reviews of milestones and tasks.

Manages project communications and status reporting in line with standards.

Supports project budget tracking, including actual and forecasted expenditure and accounting for variances.

Develops and monitors the delivery resource plan across the project lifecycle.

Drives adherence to project management standards and frameworks, governance procedures and standard templates.

Supports with the monitoring of a change roadmap for the portfolio and assists with the implementation of change management processes, policies, and best practice.

Supports in the induction and training of new project and PMO colleagues.

Required Skills and Experience

Solid PMO experience in a portfolio, project, or programme management environment.

Understands different approaches to project management (e.g. Agile, Waterfall etc.) and ensures flexibility to deliver and execute within different ways of working.

Strong finance and analytical background to support project budget tracking, including actual and forecasted expenditure and accounting for variances

Solid understanding and experience of formal project management methodologies, project planning, and project financial and resource management

Solid digital literacy, including knowledge of the MS Office suite of projects, and a willingness to learn new tools quickly

Solid interpersonal and communication skills and proven ability to work effectively with all organisational levels

Problem solving and analytical skills

Desirable Skills

Global experience \xe2\x80\x93 working efficiently with teams in multiple locations simultaneously.

Experience in large investment banking or financial services organisations

Ideally experience of Clarity (PPM tool)

Ideally qualified in project management methodologies (eg Prince 2)
