We'are looking for Senior Platform Engineer who has a hands-on cloud engineer responsible for building and operating the core AWS platform that powers internal systems and data infrastructure. This role spans operations, infrastructure-as-code, container platforms (ECS/EKS), internal platform APIs, and data processing fundamentals required for handling logs, inventories and automation.
Requirements
Responsibilities:
Build AWS infrastructure from architecture diagrams.
Update, patch, and maintain existing infrastructure.
Develop and maintain platform-owned codebases (Lambda/Python-based APIs and internal tools).
Convert architectures into Terraform modules and configurations.
Build end-to-end AWS stacks including Networking, Compute, RDS, Lambda, API Gateway, ECS/EKS
workloads, Load Balancing.
Implement best practices in HA, IAM, observability, and cost optimization.
Debug logs and trace issues across multiple AWS services.
Troubleshoot end-to-end system flows across AWS services.
Handle and process platform-generated datasets such as logs, inventories, and telemetry.
Skills Required
1. Cloud & AWS
Strong practical experience in AWS across compute, storage, networking, IAM, and serverless
services.
Hands-on experience with Lambda, API Gateway, S3, DynamoDB, CloudWatch, and SQS.
Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform)
Strong ability to write reusable Terraform modules and multi-environment configurations.
Can independently translate architecture into well-structured IaC.
2. Containers
Solid experience with ECS (task definitions, services, autoscaling, IAM for tasks)
Working knowledge of EKS (pods, manifests, node groups, basic Karpenter usage)
3. Programming
Proficiency in Python for internal APIs, Lambda functions, and tooling automation
Good understanding of clean code, error handling, and integration best practices
4. Data Analysis Fundamentals
Familiarity with Athena (CTAS, queries, partition projections).
Basic SQL for querying logs, telemetry, and operational datasets.
5. Troubleshooting & Platform Operations
Strong debugging skills across distributed AWS systems
Soft Skills
Strong communication and documentation skills
Ability to collaborate across product, data science, and engineering teams
6. Mindset
Self-driven engineer who operates with minimal supervision.
Hands-on, ownership-driven, and comfortable working in a small team.
Ability to switch between infrastructure, code, and operations seamlessly.
