The Identity & Access Technology (IAT) team protects the Bank and our customers from cyber compromise, through proactive management of cyber security, privacy, and operational risk. Our team includes:

The

AAC RUN

team is part of the Identity and Access Technology team and is responsible maintain Group wide Single Sign on and Authentication Services for Web Application for both on premise and cloud hosted applications in the Bank. We enable the Bank and its group entities to manage their IAM risk, provide productivity benefits and enable innovation to the Group and its customers.

Impact & Contribution:

The

Staff Engineer

role is to lead the design, implementation, and optimization of advanced enterprise grade IAM solution. They analyse business and IT needs and requirements to identify opportunities for improvement in business operations, processes, and control management. This role liaises with business and technical stakeholders to understand the structure, policies, and operations of the organisation and to recommend solutions that enable the organisation to achieve its goals.

Roles & Responsibilities:

You will be expected to perform the following tasks in a manner consistent with CBA's Values and People Capabilities.

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES

:


Lead architecture and design of systems for PING Identity suite of products in AWS. Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, TeamCity, and Octopus Deploy. Build and support infrastructure automation using IAC, enterprise Vault integration. Integrate applications across cloud platforms, especially AWS, ensuring secure and seamless identity flows. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Product and Security. Drive adoption of best practices in software engineering, DevOps, and Agile methodologies. Mentor junior engineers and foster a culture of technical excellence. Drive adoption of AI in IAM space' Prepare and update documentation including system manuals, deployment and configuration instructions, test scripts and user guides. Ensure smooth integration with solutions provided by other teams Collaboration and communication with team members and stakeholders

Essential Skills:

Must have at least 8-12 years development experience in an IAM domain. Solid understanding of

Ping Identity

, Ping

Directory, PING Suite of product

for enterprise IAM. Proficiency in

AWS

services (EC2, S3, IAM, CloudFormation/Terraform). Experience with

GitHub Actions

for workflow automation. Scripting skills in

PowerShell

Bash

, Python. Strong hands-on experience with

TeamCity

build configuration and

Octopus Deploy

Good to have AI exposure. Relevant IT or business tertiary qualifications is desirable. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

Education Qualification:

Bachelor's degree or master's degree in engineering in Computer Science/Information Technology
