1. Site Investigation & Planning

Review geotechnical reports and analyze soil conditions to determine piling requirements. Assess site-specific challenges (water table, soil bearing capacity, etc.). Assist in the selection of appropriate piling techniques (bored piles, driven piles, micro-piles, etc.).

2. Execution & Supervision

Supervise piling operations at the site, ensuring alignment with design and safety standards. Coordinate with contractors, site engineers, and equipment operators. Monitor pile installation parameters: depth, diameter, concrete volume, reinforcement, and load-bearing tests.

3. Quality Control & Testing

Ensure that all piling work adheres to engineering standards and project specifications. Conduct and oversee

. Maintain strict quality control over piling materials (cement, steel, etc.).

4. Coordination & Communication

Work closely with structural engineers, project managers, and geotechnical consultants. Coordinate the delivery and operation of piling equipment (rigs, cranes, pumps, etc.). Provide daily progress reports and updates to the project management team.

5. Documentation & Reporting

Maintain detailed piling logs, records of concrete pour, and equipment usage. Prepare reports on pile completion, deviations, and test outcomes. Ensure all data is documented for final submission and audits.

6. Safety & Compliance

Enforce safety protocols at the piling site. Ensure compliance with environmental and local construction regulations. Conduct risk assessments and mitigate site hazards.
Required Skills & Qualifications:

B.E./B.Tech in Civil Engineering or equivalent. Strong understanding of

soil mechanics

,

pile design

, and

ground improvement techniques

. Experience with

piling equipment

and software like AutoCAD, MS Project, or Primavera. Good communication and team management skills.
