Job Summary
The Senior Physiotherapist is responsible for providing advanced physiotherapy care, managing complex rehabilitation cases, and ensuring optimal patient outcomes. The role includes supervising junior therapists and collaborating with doctors and multidisciplinary teams.
Key ResponsibilitiesClinical Responsibilities
Conduct detailed patient assessments and clinical evaluations
Diagnose physical conditions and develop individualized treatment plans
Deliver manual therapy, electrotherapy, and therapeutic exercise programs
Manage orthopedic, neurological, sports injury, and post-operative rehabilitation cases
Track patient progress and adjust treatment plans accordingly
Patient Care
Educate patients on posture, ergonomics, injury prevention, and home exercise programs
Ensure patient safety, comfort, and confidentiality at all times
Maintain accurate and up-to-date clinical documentation
Team & Coordination
Supervise, guide, and mentor junior physiotherapists and interns
Coordinate with doctors, surgeons, and healthcare professionals
Participate in case discussions and treatment planning meetings
Operational & Quality Control
Ensure adherence to clinical protocols and quality standards
Maintain physiotherapy equipment and treatment areas
Support audits, accreditation processes, and continuous improvement initiatives
QualificationsMandatory
Bachelor's Degree in Physiotherapy (
BPT
) from a recognized institution
Valid
State / National Physiotherapy Council Registration
Strong clinical assessment and treatment expertise
Excellent patient communication and interpersonal skills
Leadership and mentoring capability
Problem-solving and clinical decision-making skills
Time management and documentation accuracy
