Position Overview:



The Senior Physiotherapist plays a leadership role in delivering high-quality, evidence-based physiotherapy services, primarily focusing on neurological rehabilitation. You will lead clinical interventions, mentor junior physiotherapists, and collaborate closely with a multi-disciplinary team to optimize patient outcomes. This role requires advanced clinical skills, team management, and the ability to adapt therapy using modern rehabilitation technologies.

Key Responsibilities:Clinical Responsibilities:



Conduct advanced neurological and functional assessments for complex cases (stroke, SCI, Parkinson's, TBI, CP, etc.) Develop and execute individualized treatment plans using neurophysiological approaches (NDT, PNF, motor relearning) Supervise and assist with robotics-assisted therapy, FES, gait training, and postural rehabilitation Monitor patient outcomes using validated tools and adjust therapy goals accordingly

Leadership & Supervision:



Guide and mentor junior physiotherapists and interns in clinical practice Oversee clinical documentation and quality of care delivery Ensure adherence to treatment protocols and patient safety standards

Team Coordination:



Collaborate with neurologists, occupational therapists, speech therapists, and psychologists Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings and case reviews Contribute to discharge planning and patient follow-up strategies

Education & Training:



Organize and participate in in-service training, workshops, and patient education sessions Stay updated on latest developments in neuro-rehab and share knowledge with the team

Eligibility Criteria:Qualifications:



MPT in

Neurology

,

Neuro-Sciences

, or

Cardio-Respiratory Physiotherapy

Minimum 3 years of clinical experience in neuro-rehabilitation settings Registered with a recognized Physiotherapy Council

Required Skills:



In-depth understanding of neuroplasticity, motor control, and rehabilitation principles Experience with pediatric, adult, and geriatric neurological patients Strong communication and team coordination abilities Working knowledge of rehab technology (robotics, virtual reality, electrotherapy)

Desirable Attributes:



Empathy and strong clinical judgment Leadership, time management, and organizational skills Ability to handle high caseloads and maintain detailed documentation Proficiency in English and Kannada (Hindi is a plus)
