The ideal candidate will be responsible for assessing, diagnosing, and treating patients with musculoskeletal, neurological, and other physical conditions. You will work closely with patients to develop personalized rehabilitation programs and provide therapeutic interventions to improve their mobility and overall quality of life.
Key Responsibilities
:
Assess and Diagnose
: Conduct thorough physical assessments of patients, including evaluating range of motion, strength, posture, and functional abilities. Diagnose conditions affecting the musculoskeletal, neurological, and cardiopulmonary systems.
Develop Treatment Plans
: Design individualized treatment plans based on patient assessments, medical history, and diagnosis, ensuring treatment goals are specific, measurable, and achievable.
Provide Hands-On Therapy
: Administer hands-on techniques such as joint mobilization, soft tissue therapy, and therapeutic exercises to reduce pain, improve mobility, and promote recovery.
Rehabilitation and Recovery
: Guide patients through a comprehensive rehabilitation process, including therapeutic exercises, stretches, and functional training.
Patient Education
: Educate patients on posture correction, injury prevention, pain management techniques, and lifestyle changes to support long-term health.
Monitor Progress
: Track patient progress throughout the treatment process, adjusting therapy as necessary to meet goals and ensure continued recovery.
Collaborate with Multidisciplinary Team
: Work closely with other healthcare professionals, including doctors, nurses, and occupational therapists, to ensure comprehensive patient care.
Maintain Documentation
: Keep accurate and up-to-date records of patient assessments, treatment plans, and progress notes in compliance with clinic policies and health regulations.
Stay Updated
: Continue professional development by staying current with the latest research, techniques, and best practices in physiotherapy.
Qualifications
:
Education
: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Physiotherapy from a recognized institution.
Experience
: At least 1-2 years of clinical experience, preferably in a physiotherapy setting (experience in sports rehabilitation or orthopedics is a plus).
Skills & Competencies
:
Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and musculoskeletal conditions.
Ability to perform physical assessments and develop personalized treatment plans.
Proficient in manual therapy techniques, therapeutic exercises, and modalities.
