Job Description

Senior Physiotherapist leads clinical and academic physiotherapy efforts. They manage patient rehabilitation protocols, lecture in undergraduate/postgraduate programs, and mentor students. They design curricula, conduct research, and maintain high quality teaching standards. They collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, supervise junior staff, and ensure evidence-based practice. They also oversee administrative duties, evaluate student performance, and contribute to the growth of the physiotherapy department.

Key Responsibilities

Deliver advanced physiotherapy treatments and mentor junior therapists effectively. Develop and deliver lectures for physiotherapy students at university level. Design and update curriculum incorporating latest evidence-based physiotherapy practices. Supervise student clinical placements and guide their professional development. Conduct and publish research in physiotherapy, rehabilitation, and related fields. Evaluate and examine student performance through assessments and practical exams. Collaborate with other health-care departments in planning interdisciplinary treatments. Manage departmental administrative tasks, scheduling, and quality assurance protocols.

Skill & Experience

Expertise in physiotherapy techniques, rehabilitation, and advanced manual therapy. Strong academic background, ideally with a master's or PhD in physiotherapy. Excellent communication skills for teaching and mentoring physiotherapy students. Research skills: able to design, execute, and publish physiotherapy studies. Leadership capabilities to manage both clinical team and academic responsibilities. Organisational skills to coordinate classes, clinics, and departmental administration
