Job Description

The Senior Physiotherapist will be responsible for delivering high-quality physiotherapy services, supervising junior therapists, ensuring patient-centric rehabilitative care, and supporting overall clinical operations. The role includes assessment, planning, and implementation of customized therapy programs to enhance patients' mobility, function, and quality of life.

Responsibilities

Clinical Responsibilities

Conduct detailed assessment of patients' physical conditions, functional limitations, and rehabilitation needs. Develop individualized treatment plans based on clinical findings and evidence-based practices. Provide manual therapy, exercise therapy, electrotherapy, neuro-muscular training, and advanced rehab interventions. Manage orthopedic, neurological, pediatric, geriatric, post-operative, and chronic pain cases. Monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans as required. Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation and progress notes. Educate patients and caregivers on home-exercise programs and lifestyle modifications.

Supervisory & Operational Responsibilities

Guide, mentor, and supervise junior physiotherapists and therapy assistants. Support the management in departmental planning, workflow improvement, and quality standards. Conduct periodic case discussions and training sessions for the clinical team. Ensure proper usage, maintenance, and safety of therapy equipment. Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams (doctors, nurses, occupational therapists, speech therapists, psychologists) for integrated rehabilitation.

Patient Care & Communication

Maintain high levels of empathy, professionalism, and patient satisfaction. Attend to patient queries and ensure transparent communication regarding treatment goals and progress. Participate in patient review meetings and family counselling sessions when required.

Administrative Responsibilities

Contribute to documentation required for audits, accreditation, and reporting. Assist in developing treatment protocols, SOPs, and patient education material. Participate in community outreach programs, awareness camps, or health talks when needed.

Qualification - MPT

MPT in Musculoskeletal / Orthopedics

MPT in Neurology

Location - Raipur

Experience - 4-5 Yrs

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
