Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and passionate PHP Developer to join our dynamic team in Chennai. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in PHP and popular frameworks such as Laravel, CodeIgniter, and WordPress. You will be responsible for developing and maintaining web applications, ensuring high performance, and writing clean, reusable code.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop, test, and maintain dynamic web-based applications using PHP. Work with Laravel, CodeIgniter, and WordPress to build scalable and secure applications. Customize and extend existing CMS functionality (primarily WordPress). Design and implement new features and functionalities. Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability. Collaborate with front-end developers, designers, and other team members. Troubleshoot, test, and maintain the core product software and databases. Follow best coding practices, version control (Git), and documentation.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

2-5 years of experience in PHP development. Strong proficiency in Laravel and/or CodeIgniter frameworks. Proficient in WordPress theme and plugin development/customization. Good understanding of front-end technologies: HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and jQuery. Experience with MySQL or other relational databases. Familiarity with RESTful APIs and third-party integrations. Version control using Git/GitHub or similar tools. Ability to write clean, well-documented, and efficient code. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Preferred Qualifications:

Knowledge of MVC architecture. Experience with AJAX, JSON, and API integrations. Familiarity with deployment processes and server-side scripting. Basic knowledge of SEO and performance optimization.

Eligibility:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field. Minimum of 2 years of professional software development experience. Full-time availability at our Chennai office.
