Job Description

Responsibilities:

Develop and maintain

web applications using PHP and related technologies. Write clean, scalable, and efficient code, ensuring high performance and responsiveness of applications.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams

(UI/UX, Design, Backend, Frontend) to create seamless web experiences. Implement and manage

database systems

(MySQL, PostgreSQL, etc.) and optimize queries. Build and

maintain APIs

and web services (RESTful, SOAP). Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize existing applications to improve performance and fix issues. Stay up-to-date with

PHP frameworks

and technologies (Laravel, Symfony, etc.) and integrate them into projects where appropriate. Conduct

code reviews

and contribute to best practices.

Write unit tests

and maintain robust testing environments. Participate in

agile development processes

and daily stand-up meetings.
Required Skills:

Strong experience with

PHP

(preferably 2+ years). Proficiency in

PHP frameworks

(e.g., Laravel, Symfony, Zend Framework). Knowledge of

front-end technologies

(HTML, CSS, JavaScript, AJAX, jQuery). Experience working with

databases

(MySQL, PostgreSQL) and

ORMs

(e.g., Eloquent). Familiarity with

version control systems

(e.g., Git). Experience in building and consuming

REST APIs

. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Understanding of web application architecture, design patterns, and best practices. Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Google Cloud, etc.) is a plus.
Desirable Skills:

Experience with

front-end frameworks

(React, Vue.js, Angular). Familiarity with

DevOps practices

and CI/CD pipelines. Understanding of

security principles

in web development. Knowledge of

unit testing frameworks

(PHPUnit, Behat). Basic understanding of

containerization

(Docker). Experience with

JavaScript frameworks

or libraries (Vue.js, Angular, React).
Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree

in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience. 2+ years of professional experience in PHP development (or equivalent experience).
