Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced

Senior PHP Developer

with deep expertise in

Laravel

to join our growing engineering team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable web applications, mentoring junior developers, and driving best practices in code quality, security, and performance.

Key Responsibilities

Design, build, and maintain robust, scalable, and secure web applications using

Laravel

and related technologies. Collaborate with product managers, UI/UX designers, and other developers to deliver high-quality solutions. Optimize applications for maximum speed, performance, and responsiveness. Write clean, maintainable, and testable code following industry best practices. Conduct code reviews and provide technical guidance to junior and mid-level developers. Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing applications. Integrate third-party APIs, services, and databases. Stay updated with emerging technologies and propose improvements to enhance product and team performance.
Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).

5+ years of professional PHP development experience

, with at least

3+ years in Laravel

. Strong understanding of

object-oriented programming

,

MVC architecture

, and

RESTful APIs

. Proficiency in

MySQL/PostgreSQL

and database design. Experience with

front-end technologies

such as JavaScript, Vue.js/React, HTML5, and CSS3. Strong knowledge of version control systems (
