Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and maintain clean, well-structured PHP code (PHP 8+).Build, customize, and maintain plugins for platforms like WordPress, Magento, OpenCart, and PrestaShop.Migrate existing PHP plugins to JavaScript while maintaining functionality and performance.Integrate and test payment gateways within CMS platforms.Develop responsive front-end interfaces using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery, and AJAX.Optimize plugin and site performance, including speed and responsiveness.Troubleshoot, test, and maintain core product software and databases.Collaborate with designers to implement effective, user-friendly UI/UX.Ensure cross-browser compatibility and mobile responsiveness.Conduct plugin testing and debugging across CMS platforms.Must-Have SkillsStrong knowledge of PHP 8+ and OOP principles.Experience with WordPress plugin and theme development.Hands-on experience with Magento, OpenCart, or PrestaShop.Proficiency in JavaScript, jQuery, and AJAX.Strong frontend skills in HTML5, CSS3, and responsive design.Experience with plugin testing, debugging, and performance optimization.Familiarity with MySQL and database-driven development.Ability to write secure, maintainable, and scalable code.Good-to-Have SkillsExperience migrating PHP plugins to JavaScript or modern JS frameworks.Knowledge of payment gateway integration (e.g., Stripe, PayPal).Understanding of REST APIs and asynchronous data handling.Familiarity with modern JavaScript (ES6+) and modular JS architecture.Experience with version control systems like Git.Exposure to UX/UI design principles and customer-centric development.Knowledge of CMS best practices and plugin architecture patterns.
