Responsible for designing, implementing, and executing formal performance testing strategies to ensure the delivery of scalable, secure, and high-performing cloud-native applications. Leverages experience in AWS cloud services to simulate real-world load scenarios and optimize system performance in distributed environments.
Key Responsibilities:

Designing and executing performance test plans aligned with cloud-native architecture best practices.
Developing custom scripts and tools using Groovy/Java, with preference for experience in AWS.
Conducting performance testing on AWS-hosted applications using tools like JMeter, K6, integrating with AWS services (e.g., EC2, ECS, Lambda, CloudWatch).
Analyzing performance metrics using AWS tools (e.g., CloudWatch, X-Ray, CloudTrail) to identify system bottlenecks, latency issues, or scaling constraints.
Collaborating with development and DevOps teams to implement fixes, optimize infrastructure, and validate improvements.
Participating in test planning, writing detailed test scripts, executing performance tests, and analyzing and presenting results.
Supporting continuous improvement by collecting and analyzing data for software process optimization, and integrating findings into agile workflows.
Maintaining documentation of issues, findings, and resolutions, while contributing to root cause analysis.
Acting as a quality advocate by contributing to process documentation, standards, and performance benchmarks across engineering teams.
Delivering internal training and workshops on performance best practices and AWS-based quality engineering approaches.
Experience with monitoring tools like NewRelic, Datadog or SigNoz.
