Position Overview
We are seeking a meticulous and experienced professional to lead our payroll operations and ensure timely, accurate salary disbursement and statutory compliance. The ideal candidate must have hands-on experience with end-to-end Payroll and deep knowledge of Indian labor laws, payroll systems, and employee benefits. This role demands cross-functional collaboration, process improvement, and high confidentiality. This role requires a meticulous attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and responsible for managing and processing the payroll for our employees. You will ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations and provide support to the HR department in various payroll-related functions.
As a Payroll, you will...
Accurately process payroll for employees, ensuring timely and accurate payment.
Maintain and update payroll records, including employee details, attendance, leave, and other relevant data.
Prepare and submit payroll reports to management and relevant authorities as required.
Ensure compliance with statutory requirements including income tax, provident fund, ESIC, gratuity, and other applicable labour laws.
Perform regular payroll reconciliations and resolve any discrepancies in a timely manner.
Address and resolve payroll-related inquiries from employees promptly and professionally.
Assist with internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and information.
Use Zoho Payroll for end-to-end payroll, compliance, payslips, and audit trails.
What you already have...
Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, HR, or a related field.
Minimum 5+ years of experience in payroll processing.
Strong understanding of Indian payroll laws and statutory compliance related to payroll (PF, ESIC, PT, MLWF).
Multitasking and being flexible in shift timings during audits/Urgent requests from Management.
High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
Ability to handle sensitive information with utmost confidentiality.
Strong knowledge of Zoho Payroll, HRIS platforms, and MS Excel.
Experience with Zoho integrations and automated payroll workflows is a plus.
Working Hours:
This role requires you to work 5 days a week (Hybrid) from Mon to Fri for 9:15 hours a day.
