Job Description

We are looking for a highly skilled

Senior Part-Time DevOps Engineer

to oversee and manage our project infrastructure and deployment workflows. This role is ideal for someone who can balance strategic thinking with hands-on execution, ensuring smooth CI/CD, cloud infrastructure management, monitoring, and security. You will work closely with developers, project managers, and leadership to streamline delivery and maintain reliability.

Responsibilities

Design, implement, and manage CI/CD pipelines for efficient development and deployment
Oversee cloud infrastructure (AWS, GCP, or Azure) including provisioning, scaling, and cost optimization
Automate deployments and infrastructure with tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or Helm
Ensure observability and monitoring through logging, metrics, and alerting (Grafana, Prometheus, ELK, Datadog, etc)
Manage containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes)
Enforce security best practices, including secrets management, access control, and compliance checks
Troubleshoot system issues, performance bottlenecks, and deployment failures
Collaborate with engineering teams to align DevOps processes with project goals
Provide mentorship and guidance on DevOps practices to developers and junior engineers

Requirements

4+ years of experience in DevOps, Cloud Engineering, or Infrastructure roles Strong expertise in containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes) Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools (GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, ArgoCD, etc) Proficiency with infrastructure as code (Terraform, Ansible, Helm) Experience managing cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) Strong knowledge of monitoring and logging frameworks Familiarity with microservices architecture and backend engineering practices Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
