Job Overview

We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated

Senior Packing Supervisor

to manage and oversee all packing operations for our factory's solvents and chemicals. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all products are packed safely and efficiently, while also managing a team of packing staff and adhering to all safety and regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities

Operations Management:

Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of the packing department, ensuring all products are packed according to company standards and production schedules.

Safety & Compliance:

Enforce strict adherence to all health, safety, and environmental (HSE) regulations, particularly concerning the handling of hazardous chemicals and solvents. Ensure all packing processes comply with relevant industry and government standards.

Manpower Handling:

Lead, train, and mentor a team of packing operators and workers. Schedule shifts, delegate tasks, and conduct performance evaluations to maintain a high-performing team.

Quality Control:

Implement and monitor quality control procedures to ensure the integrity of all packed products. This includes regular checks for leaks, proper labeling, and accurate weight/volume measurements.

Inventory & Logistics:

Collaborate with the logistics and inventory teams to ensure the timely availability of packing materials and a smooth flow of finished goods. Manage inventory of packing supplies.

Documentation:

Maintain accurate records of all packing activities, including production logs, quality checks, and incident reports.
Qualifications

Education:

Bachelor's degree in Science (B.Sc.) or a related field.

Experience:

4-5 years of progressive experience in a packing or production role, preferably within the

chemical, pharmaceutical, or related manufacturing industry

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
