evelopers with strong experience in Oracle SQL Development to lead a team.

Experience: 10-15 years

Location: Remote until further update.

Hiring Office: Hosur, Tamil Nadu

Need candidates from: Anywhere from South India

Notice Period: immediate

Key Responsibilities:

Design and Development:

Design, develop, and maintain complex database schemas, stored procedures, functions, packages, and triggers using Oracle SQL and PL/SQL.

Performance Tuning:

Optimize SQL queries and PL/SQL code for maximum performance, including analyzing execution plans, utilizing indexing strategies, and leveraging Oracle performance tuning tools

Data Management:

Design and implement data models, ensure data integrity, and manage database security.

Troubleshooting and Support:

Diagnose and resolve database-related issues, including performance bottlenecks, data discrepancies, and application errors. Provide Level 3 support for production systems.

Mentorship:

Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members on best practices for database design, development, and maintenance.

Documentation:

Create and maintain technical documentation for database designs, code, and processes.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

Extensive Experience:

Typically 6+ years of experience in Oracle SQL and PL/SQL development.

Experience in Oracle D2K forms and Reports

would be an added advantage.

Technical Proficiency:

Strong command of Oracle SQL, including complex queries, subqueries, analytical functions, and DDL/DML operations. Expertise in Oracle PL/SQL programming, including stored procedures, functions, packages, triggers, and exception handling. Deep understanding of Oracle database architecture, features (e.g., Oracle 12c/19c). Proficiency with Oracle tools like SQL Developer, SQLPlus, and TOAD.
Experience with performance tuning techniques and tools. Knowledge of database design principles, data modelling, and normalization.

Soft Skills:

Analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in an Agile environment. Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality solutions.

Education:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
