Role & Responsibilities:
Conduct accurate refractive power assessments and prescribe corrective lenses as required.
Perform preliminary screening for common eye conditions, including cataract, stye, entropion, conjunctivitis, and other ocular issues.
Maintain detailed and up-to-date patient records, ensuring accurate documentation of findings and prescriptions.
Assist in early detection and management of visual impairments through community vision screening and awareness activities.
Coordinate with ophthalmologists for timely referrals, specialist consultations, and follow-up care.
Ensure proper handling, cleaning, and maintenance of all ophthalmic instruments and diagnostic equipment.
Educate patients on eye care, proper lens use, and preventive measures for maintaining good vision health.
