We are looking for an experienced and skilled
Senior Ophthalmologist
specializing in
Cataract and Vitreo-Retinal (VR) surgeries
to join our growing eye care team. The candidate should be capable of delivering high-quality clinical care and performing advanced surgical procedures with precision and confidence.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform
phacoemulsification and other cataract surgeries
independently
Conduct
Vitreo-Retinal (VR) surgeries
and manage complex retinal cases
Diagnose and treat a wide range of ophthalmic conditions
Provide pre-operative and post-operative patient care
Maintain accurate medical records and ensure compliance with clinical protocols
Work collaboratively with optometrists, nurses, and support staff
Required Skills & Competencies:
Strong expertise in
cataract and VR surgical procedures
Excellent clinical judgment and patient management skills
Good communication and interpersonal abilities
Commitment to ethical medical practice and patient safety
Ability to work independently as well as within a multidisciplinary team
Experience:
Minimum
3 years
and up to
10 years
of relevant post-qualification experience
Proven surgical exposure in cataract and VR procedures
