Role Overview:




Zelle Biotech is seeking an experienced and visionary Senior Operations Manager to lead and optimize our end-to-end operations - encompassing Projects, Product Management, and Logistics. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in driving operational excellence, process innovation, and cross-functional alignment to scale our biotech business and strengthen our market presence.



Key Responsibilities:




o Design and execute tailored operational plans across product and service verticals.




o Translate strategic objectives into executable roadmaps and action plans.




o Lead planning, budgeting, forecasting, and resource allocation for operations.




o Foster a high-performance culture with strong values, accountability, and morale.




o Inspire, mentor, and develop cross-functional teams for optimum performance.




o Champion effective communication between leadership and frontline teams.




o Develop, implement, and continuously improve SOPs for product handling, service delivery, and logistics.




o Ensure operational policies align with organizational goals and regulatory requirements.




o Drive digitization and automation where relevant to improve operational efficiency.




o Ensure all operations adhere to industry standards, regulatory guidelines, and internal controls.




o Review audit outcomes and implement corrective action plans.




o Oversee documentation and compliance for quality assurance, certifications, and vendor management.




o Work closely with Sales, R&D, Procurement, and Customer Support to ensure seamless execution of client deliverables.




o Collaborate with senior leadership to shape mission, vision, and long-term strategic goals.




o Conduct operational and market analysis to improve service delivery, logistics, and procurement.




o Negotiate pricing, delivery, and contracts with key vendors to optimize cost and reliability.




o Approve replacements, waivers, and discounts (>36% for NEB and >40% for CST) in line with internal policy.




o Monitor customer feedback and align operations to enhance satisfaction and retention.

Candidate Profile




o Proven experience in managing teams, vendor relationships, and large-scale operations.

Deep understanding of biotech product life cycles, inventory systems, and supply chain processes.

Strong analytical and decision-making skills with a result-oriented mindset.

Excellent interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills.


Experience:




+

Minimum 15 years of progressive experience in operational leadership roles, preferably within the biotech or life sciences industry.

Qualification:




+

Master's degree in Biotechnology, Life Sciences, or related disciplines, along with MBA will be preferred
