This position is responsible for supporting the IBM iSeries/Power systems technology, hardware, software, products and tools hosted in the Stoneleigh Data Center. Working closely with the existing Hosting iSeries team the role is responsible for ensuring high availability, support and development of the IBM iSeries/Power systems/technology.The role involves supporting and coordinating with the aftersales/parts teams and provide support and service delivery to Agco's global business critical operations.

Your Impact

Provide effective iSeries system troubleshooting and end to end problem resolution. Provide iSeries system administration, server provisioning, patching, operating system upgrades, supporting production/test environments. Manage iSeries system performance and offer role related project support when required. Develop, document and maintain procedures for system utilities such as backup/restore, performance tuning and configuration of environments as well as incremental backups as required. Support job scheduling and assist in system maintenance activities. Thin Client Implementation and global warehouse support. Offer onsite iSeries IT support on a call out rota basis. Perform similar and related duties as assigned by team lead.

Your Experience and Qualifications

Experience of IBM iSeries - AS400/Power system administration and troubleshooting. Knowledge of IBM iSeries/Power system network, access and security guidelines and procedures. Knowledge of Robot scheduler, Redwood Scheduler, SAP and MS Windows products. Detailed experience of Agco's business and knowledge of IT Operations support protocols. Knowledge of internal auditing processes, & experience of ITIL Concepts
