Manage the development, implementation, and monitoring of a risk-based program for a business or large functional area with moderate to high risk to identify, assess and mitigate operational risk that arises from inadequate or failed internal processes, people, systems, or external events
Maintain a balance between risk mitigation and operational efficiency
Evaluate the adequacy and effectiveness of policies, procedures, processes, systems, and internal controls
Analyze business and system changes to determine impact, assess operational risk issues, and assign risk ratings consistent with established policy standards
Provide operational risk expertise and consulting to complex business units for initiatives with high risk
Design and develop testing strategies, methodologies and analyses
Consult with the business to develop corrective action plans and effectively manage change
Identify training opportunities
Design and coordinate the development of training materials and coordinate or deliver training
Report findings and develop business cases to influence management on the need for controls to mitigate risk
Manage and coordinate production of periodic operational risk performance reports for management, including trend research and recommended strategies
Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues, and managers to resolve issues and achieve goals
Required Qualifications:
4+ years of Operational Risk experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
Desired Qualifications:
Third Party Risk Management and Risk management control concepts).
Experience in execution of Risk Management Framework processes such as COBIT, FFIEC, NIST, ITIL, COSO, BASEL, and OCC Heightened Standards. Ability to receive and provide directions to the team on using the SHRP Governance Management system (Archer platform).
Working knowledge issues management and regulatory obligations/actionable requirement reviews. Working knowledge on SharePoint, Agile Concepts, Workflow Tools such as JIRA and Tableau dashboards would be an added advantage.
Deep understanding of policy governance and oversight with expertise in policy management, publication of governance documentation, enterprise-wide policy implementation, and policy adherence monitoring.
Job Expectations:
Shift Timings: 1:30 PM to 10:30 PM IST
Knowledge of global regulatory guidance documents to perform a risk-based analysis.
Fulfil requests related to break down of new/revised authoritative sources at a granular level aimed at identifying actionable requirements for Wells Fargo.
Manage and ensure accuracy and integrity of Regulatory Information in the system of record as per procedures.
Independently execute quality checks for process artifacts and deliverables.
Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues, and managers to resolve issues and achieve goals.
Create/maintain appropriate process documentation as per defined standards.
Recommend process improvements and ensure ongoing alignment to overarching authoritative sources as per business requirements.
Support the reporting, escalation, and timely remediation of issues, deficiencies, or regulatory matters regarding Operational risk management.
Evaluate the adequacy and effectiveness of policies, procedures, processes, systems, and internal controls
Provide operational risk expertise and consulting to business units for initiatives, generally spanning multiple business lines
Design and coordinate the development of training materials and coordinate or deliver training
