Roles & Responsibilities:
1. You will be responsible for champion safety and quality-first approaches in all workplace tasks.
2. You will be responsible for analyzing and maintain data on tire uniformity, including developing and validating testing methods.
3. You will be responsible for troubleshooting production processes and equipment to ensure proper functioning and specification compliance.
4. You will be responsible for driving process optimization, including the reduction of waste and improvement in yields.
5. You will be responsible for creating and update work instructions, control plans, and technical documentation for manufacturing lines.
6. You will be responsible for training, mentoring, and evaluating direct reports in process improvements and technical skills.
7. You will be responsible participating in or lead cross-functional projects focused on quality, yield, and process improvements.
8. You will be responsible for documenting and enforce quality standards and participate in audits, including implementing corrective actions.
9. You will be responsible for leading implementation of maintenance activities like cleaning, inspection, lubrication, and re-tightening (WPO/DEC)
Core Technical Skills
10. You will be responsible for Tire uniformity data analysis (radial and lateral force variation, runout measurement).
11. You will be responsible in process troubleshooting and problem-solving within tire or rubber manufacturing.
12. You will be responsible for Statistical Process Control (SPC), Six Sigma, and Design of Experiments (DOE) for quality improvement.
13. You will be responsible for Understanding of international quality standards (JASO,WDK, SAE JIS 332, ETRTO).
14. You will be responsible for Preventive and predictive maintenance knowledge for uniformity machines.
15. You will be responsible for Strong data analysis and reporting skills, typically using spreadsheets or visualization software.
16. You will be responsible for Familiarity with tire uniformity machines and their respective software interfaces for test scheduling, data retrieval, and diagnostics
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, typically Chemical, Rubber, Polymer, or Mechanical engineering.
2-3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in tire or rubber-related industries.
Proficient in data analysis, process control, troubleshooting, and using tools like Microsoft Excel.
Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving abilities.
Experience with quality management systems, SPC (Statistical Process Control), and continuous improvement methodologies.
