Job Description

Job Purpose

  • To resolve customer disputes pertaining to customer's credit report in a timely manner
  • To ensure timely and accurate submission of CIC and any Regulatory reporting
  • Maintain a consistent consumer credit culture in the Bank to ensure compliance with regulatory and internal standards
Key Accountabilities
  • Resolution of customer disputes received from the Bureaus and/or internal channels. Prepare and make submission for bureau corrections, as applicable.
  • Ensure accurate and timely submission of all Regulatory Reporting detailed below but not limited to:
  • Reporting of performance of our borrower loans to the 4 Bureaus
  • Reporting submissions pertaining to RBI, NHB
  • Reporting of performance of our borrower loans to NeSL
  • Ensure controls and processes are streamlined for all Regulatory and CIC reporting activities
  • Engage proactively with key stakeholders from Business, Reporting teams, Credit Policy, Technology, Operations etc.
  • Support UAT of all system led changes
Job Duties & responsibilities
  • Resolution of customer disputes and related bureau corrections/reporting
  • Preparation of bureau reporting files for submission to all 4 bureaus.
  • Conduct controls, hygiene checks to ensure accurate reporting
  • Conduct monthly Quality Control checks to ensure accurate and timely reporting
  • Publish regular dashboards of dispute management items
  • Perform regular and ad-hoc risk reporting to consumer credit management/ line of business stakeholders and MIS preparation.
  • Identify opportunities/ gaps to improve data quality and existing reporting processes
  • Provide UAT support for any data migration, automation or MIS platform enhancement to ensure successful implementation.
Experience
At least 3-4 years of experience in financial sector with exposure to bureau complaints & CIC Reporting.
Education / Preferred Qualifications
  • Degree holder, preferably in banking/Finance
  • Knowledgeof strong command in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Powerpoint & Access).
  • Good understanding and knowledge of credit cycle management (acquisition, collection & portfolio management)in a consumer credit environment preferred.
  • Knowledge of Python, SQL, other automation is an added advantage
