To leverage strong production operations expertise and leadership skills to drive efficient, high-quality, and safe production of food products. This includes optimizing production processes, ensuring adherence to food safety regulations, motivating and developing a skilled production team, and implementing continuous improvement initiatives to achieve production targets and company goals.
Job Responsibilities:
Oversee all stages of food production by making regular checks on the quality of the product.
Develop plans and strategies to improve the overall productivity of the production line.
Keep up the production time and achieve maximum output through available resources.
Monitor preventive maintenance programs and coordinate with the maintenance team for the same for production equipment to minimize downtime and ensure efficient operations.
Ensure continuous production is maintained with respect to the timely maintenance of the machinery and equipment.
Lead the production team in adhering to strict food safety regulations and quality control standards.
Job Tasks:
Oversee technology upgrades and automation in production plants.
Conduct regular audits and inspections of production processes and equipment to identify and address potential food safety hazards.
Liaise with the Quality Assurance department to ensure alignment with quality control procedures and address any non-conformance issues
Identify opportunities to improve production efficiency, minimize waste, and reduce production costs.
Take initiatives to reduce the overall production cost.
Implement and monitor continuous improvement initiatives, such as Lean Manufacturing principles, to optimize production processes.
Analyse production data to identify trends and areas for improvement
Job Requirements:
Education qualification: Relevant PG/UG
3+ years of experience in a supervisory management role across operations
Strong knowledge of Frozen Food/Chicken Processing Plant operation by Quality perspective
Negotiation skills
Digital tools and trends
Compliance and regulation knowledge of the food business
Physical presence at plant of customers (as this is the Customer Support Service)
Manage multitasking and multiple tasks as per the need
Being available at hours of stress and trouble if any.
