We are looking for a highly skilled

Node.js Developer

with 5+ years of hands-on experience to join our growing engineering team. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in

Node.js, Express, PostgreSQL, AWS, and Docker

, and a proven ability to design, develop, and maintain scalable backend systems for modern web applications.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain backend services and APIs using

Node.js & Express.js

. Build efficient, reusable, and scalable server-side components. Work with

PostgreSQL

for data modeling, performance tuning, and database management. Deploy, manage, and monitor applications on

AWS cloud infrastructure

. Implement containerization solutions using

Docker

for seamless deployment and scaling. Collaborate with frontend developers, product owners, and QA engineers to deliver high-quality solutions. Ensure security, performance, and scalability across all backend services. Conduct code reviews, provide technical guidance, and maintain best practices within the team. Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize existing systems for maximum efficiency. Stay updated with new tools, frameworks, and technologies in the Node.js ecosystem.

Required Skills & Experience

Bachelor's/Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. 5+ years of hands-on development experience with

Node.js & Express.js

. Strong expertise with

PostgreSQL

(queries, stored procedures, optimization). Proven experience with

AWS services

(EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, etc.). Hands-on experience with

Docker

(containerization & orchestration). Understanding of microservices architecture and RESTful APIs. Knowledge of authentication/authorization (JWT, OAuth2). Strong debugging, problem-solving, and analytical skills. Good communication and teamwork abilities.

Good to Have

Experience with GraphQL or other API frameworks. Exposure to Kubernetes or other orchestration tools. Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices. Knowledge of testing frameworks like Jest or Mocha.
