Job Description

Key Responsibilities



Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend applications using Node.js.
Architect and implement clean, maintainable, and high-performance server-side code following best practices.
Collaborate with product managers, frontend engineers, and DevOps teams to deliver robust and secure solutions.
Integrate RESTful APIs, GraphQL, third-party services, and cloud-based platforms.
Optimize backend performance, security, and scalability for large-scale systems.
Conduct code reviews, provide mentorship, and guide junior developers.
Contribute to CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and deployment strategies.

Required Skills & Qualifications



Strong knowledge of Node.js, Express.js, and modern JavaScript (ES6+).
Experience with TypeScript is highly preferred.
Strong understanding of backend design patterns, microservices architecture, and API development best practices.
Hands-on experience with databases such as MongoDB, PostgreSQL, MySQL, or Redis.
Proficiency in building and consuming REST APIs, GraphQL, WebSockets.
Familiarity with authentication/authorization protocols (JWT, OAuth2, SSO).
Familiarity with Git, GitHub/GitLab, Agile/Scrum methodologies.
Strong debugging, problem-solving, and performance optimization skills.
