: NFVI VCore T2

We are seeking an experienced NFVI VCore T2 with a minimum of 8 years of relevant industry experience to join our dynamic Network Operations Center (NOC) team. As an NFVI T2 in the NOC, you will play a critical role in designing, implementing, and optimizing Network Functions Virtualization Infrastructure (NFVI) VCore solutions. Your expertise will be pivotal in ensuring the efficient and effective functioning of the virtualized core components of our network, while working closely with NOC operations.



Responsibilities:Lead the design, development, and deployment of NFVI VCore solutions within the context of the NOC environment, focusing on scalability, reliability, and performance. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including network architects, engineers, and NOC operators, to define NFVI VCore requirements and specifications aligned with operational needs. Develop and maintain detailed documentation, including architecture diagrams, technical specifications, and implementation guidelines relevant to NOC operations. Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues related to NFVI VCore components within the NOC, ensuring minimal service disruption and swift resolution to maintain operational excellence. Monitor the performance of NFVI VCore systems within the NOC and proactively identify opportunities for optimization and enhancement in collaboration with the NOC team. Act as a mentor and knowledge resource for NOC team members, sharing best practices and providing guidance on technical challenges related to NFVI VCore. Participate in NOC operational meetings and contribute insights to optimize network performance and reliability.


Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; advanced degree preferred. Minimum of 8 years of hands-on experience in designing, deploying, and managing Network Functions Virtualization Infrastructure (NFVI) VCore solutions. Expertise in virtualization technologies such as VMware, OpenStack, Kubernetes, or similar platforms, with a focus on NOC operations. Strong understanding of NFV architecture, principles, and best practices, tailored to NOC requirements. Proven track record in troubleshooting and resolving complex technical issues related to NFVI VCore systems, particularly within a NOC environment. Proficiency in scripting and automation using languages such as Python, Bash, or similar, aligning with NOC processes. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively convey technical concepts to both technical and non-technical NOC stakeholders. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and adapt to changing NOC requirements. Industry certifications such as VMware Certified Professional (VCP), OpenStack Certified Administrator, or equivalent, are a plus. Demonstrated ability to lead and collaborate within cross-functional teams and across the NOC. Prior experience in telecom or networking environments and NOC operations is highly desirable.
