NoC Engineer L2 Support - IP/ MPLS
Overall, 4- 6 years of relevant experience in Telecom Domain
Ready to work in 247 Work environment, manage NoC operations and incidents.
Perform second level troubleshooting using tools and utilities to resolve network related issues.
Heath Check and Maintenance Operations on in scope network elements and infrastructure
Severity 1 to 4 Incident triage, support, management, restoration, recommendations
Root Cause Analysis Support, post incident or event
Work with Major Incident Management team for Major Incident Resolution.
Creation and maintenance of processes and procedures for T2 tasks
Provide Support for network configurations, expansions, installations, and updates.
Maintain and update all network documentation, process configurations.
Interface with all internal and third-party support providers and vendors in the management and resolution of incidents.
Responsible for the process to effectively monitor all services that ensures compliance with Tier model and SLAs.
Ensured efficient resolution of incidents through people, process and technology.
Provide timely, accurate, and effective communication on service impacting events. Work with vendors on issue resolution and communications.
Qualification
5+ years of related experience in routing switching, ISP, mobile operator networks operational experience with enterprise class routers, switches and firewalls Experience on Client switches, Routers wireless series.
Experience in MPBN, L3 VPN, L2 VPN, QOS, TRAFFIC ENGINEERING, JUNIPER, CISCO, OSPF, ISIS.
Strong Working Experience in Network troubleshooting including LAN, WAN & Security domains.
Day-to-day operations management
Helping Team in Troubleshoot & resolve highly complex customer network issues.
Experience in troubleshooting Cisco, Juniper, Ericsson, Nokia routers, switches & firewalls (ASA, Palo Alto)
Handling, Juniper CISCO L3 and L2 Devices
Strong working knowledge of IP, IPsec, and VPNs.
Responsible for delivering complex Maintenance and Monitoring activities for different customers.
Provide Incident Management support through the IC role in case of the main crisis.
Ensure service continuity by reducing the impact of a disaster or major failure through operational validation of the designed.
Perform network maintenance and system upgrades including service packs, patches, hot fixes and security configurations.
Monitor performance and ensure system availability and reliability.
Identify problems and errors prior to or when they occur and log all such incidents in a timely manner with the required level of detail.
Managing and maintaining the operational integrity of the company's security and data networks and will be required to respond to incidents and alerts and provide occasional out-of-hours technical support.
Leverage knowledge articles to investigate and resolve second-line support calls assigned.
Identify the root cause of incidents and problems. Prepare RCA for business-critical incidents and downtime.
Perform troubleshooting and incident management for high-priority issues and ensure that they are resolved within the timeframes set by service level agreements.
Experience on Cisco XR and XE routers.
