Lookman Electroplast Industries Limited is seeking an experienced and certified CCNP (Cisco Certified Network Professional) to lead and manage the central network operations. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in enterprise networking, network security, routing and switching, and large-scale network administration. Role Overview:
The Senior Network Engineer will be responsible for designing, managing, and optimizing the organisation's central network infrastructure. This role requires strong technical leadership, hands-on configuration experience, and the ability to ensure maximum network uptime and performance. Key Responsibilities: Central Network Operations
Lead and manage day-to-day operations of the organisation's core/central network.
Ensure continuous network availability, stability, and performance across all sites.
Oversee routing, switching, firewalls, VPNs, MPLS, and WAN connectivity. Network Implementation & Configuration
Configure, maintain, and troubleshoot Cisco routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless controllers.
Implement network changes, upgrades, and migrations with minimal downtime.
Manage network segmentation, VLANs, routing protocols (OSPF, EIGRP, BGP), and security policies. Monitoring & Security
Monitor network performance using tools and dashboards; proactively resolve issues.
Implement and maintain network security controls, firewall policies, and access management.
Ensure compliance with company standards and IT best practices. Troubleshooting & Escalation
Act as the senior technical escalation point for complex network issues.
Perform root-cause analysis and provide long-term solutions.
Coordinate with ISPs, vendors, and internal teams during outages or maintenance. Documentation & Reporting
Maintain network diagrams, configuration documents, and SOPs.
Prepare performance reports, incident logs, and improvement suggestions. Leadership & Mentoring
Guide and mentor junior network engineers and field staff.
Provide training on Cisco technologies, best practices, and network procedures. Required Skills & Qualifications:
Minimum 10 years of experience in enterprise network management.
Must hold an active CCNP certification (Routing & Switching, Enterprise, or Security preferred).
Deep hands-on experience with Cisco routers, switches, firewalls, and related technologies.
Strong knowledge of routing protocols (OSPF, EIGRP, BGP), VLANs, STP, ACLs, NAT, VPNs, and QoS.
Experience managing large-scale, centralised network architectures.
Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and decision-making skills.
Strong communication and leadership abilities. Preferred Qualifications (Optional):
CCIE (written/lab) or other advanced Cisco certifications.
Experience with network automation tools or scripting (Python, Ansible).
Exposure to cloud networking environments (AWS, Azure).
