Monitoring and Maintenance: Continuously monitor network performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure optimal operation.
Upgrades and Optimization: Upgrade network equipment and optimize configurations to improve efficiency and performance.
Documentation: Create and maintain detailed network diagrams and documentation for design and planning.
Collaboration: Work closely with other teams to design future network developments and projects.
Security Responsibilities:
Firewall Management: Configure, manage, and monitor cloud firewalls to protect network infrastructure.
Security Policies: Establish and enforce security policies, including access controls and data encryption.
Threat Detection and Response: Implement and manage intrusion detection systems and respond to security incidents.
Compliance: Ensure network security measures comply with relevant regulations and standards.
Risk Assessment: Conduct regular security assessments and vulnerability testing to identify and mitigate risks.
Cloud-Specific Responsibilities:
Cloud Integration: Assist with the transition of on-premise networks to cloud environments.
Cloud Service Management: Work with cloud service providers to manage and deploy services efficiently.
Disaster Recovery: Develop and test disaster recovery plans to minimize the risk of major network failures.
