Position Summary:
The Senior Network Analyst is responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining complex network infrastructures that support enterprise operations across multiple geographies. This role ensures high availability, security, and optimal performance of network systems while serving as a technical authority and strategic collaborator. The analyst works closely with IT teams, business units, and external vendors to deliver scalable, secure, and resilient networking solutions.
Work You'll Do:Architect and deploy enterprise-grade LAN/WAN, VPN, and SD-WAN solutions
Configure and maintain routers, switches, firewalls, wireless access points, and other network hardware
Ensure redundancy, failover, and load balancing across critical network paths
Provide Tier 2/3 support for escalated network issues, ensuring timely resolution and minimal disruption
Monitor network performance and availability using diagnostic tools and analytics platforms
Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions for recurring issues
Implement and manage network security protocols including firewalls, IDS/IPS, VPNs, and segmentation
Monitor for vulnerabilities and respond to threats in alignment with security policies
Ensure compliance with internal standards and external regulations (e.g., ISO, GDPR, HIPAA)
Identify gaps in documentation, tooling, and workflows; lead initiatives to automate and standardize processes
Contribute to internal knowledge bases, SOPs, and technical documentation
Continuously evaluate emerging technologies to improve network efficiency and scalability
Manage contracts, SLAs, and escalations with ISPs and third-party service providers
Coordinate connectivity setups and troubleshoot external link issues
Collaborate with business units and IT analysts to scope, plan, and execute network-related projects
Team:This role is embedded within a globally distributed IT network team that supports business continuity across time zones. The team is focused on delivering high-performance connectivity, minimizing downtime, and enabling secure access to enterprise resources worldwide.
Basic Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
10+ years of experience in network engineering or administration with increasing responsibility
Industry certifications such as CCNP, CCNA, CCIE, ITIL, or equivalent vendor-specific credentials
Preferred Qualifications:Strong understanding of networking protocols and technologies: TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, VLANs, QoS, multicast, SD-WAN
Experience with firewalls, IDS/IPS, VPNs, and network segmentation
Familiarity with cloud networking services (AWS, Azure, GCP)
Proficiency in network monitoring and diagnostic tools (e.g., SolarWinds, Wireshark, NetFlow)
Knowledge of ITIL practices and change management workflows
Understanding of data protection regulations and network security controls
Excellent communication, documentation, and analytical skills
Fluent in English; additional language skills are a plus
Flexibility to work across India and US time zones as needed
