Job Description

? Design, configure, and maintain enterprise LAN, WAN, and data center networks, focusing

on switches and routers.

? Install, upgrade, and troubleshoot Cisco or other switches and routers(FortiGate).

? Manage VLANs, routing protocols (OSPF, EIGRP, BGP), and switch/router configurations

to ensure efficient traffic flow.

? Monitor network performance, identify bottlenecks, and troubleshoot issues related to

switches, routers, and connectivity.

? Implement and manage network security measures, including ACLs, VPNs, and firewall

integration with routing devices.

? Document network architecture, configurations, and procedures.

? Participate in network capacity planning and performance tuning.

? Conduct regular firmware updates, patches, and hardware replacements.

? Lead network problem resolution and incident response activities.

? Collaborate with security teams to ensure network security policies are enforced.

? Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior IT staff.

Skill:

? 3-5 years of experience managing and supporting network switches and routers.

? Strong hands-on experience with Cisco switches/routers (e.g., Catalyst, Nexus) or similar

vendor equipment.

? In-depth knowledge of routing protocols (BGP, OSPF, EIGRP), switching (VLANs, STP),

and network segmentation.

? Experience with network security configurations and best practices.

? Certifications such as Cisco CCNP, CCIE, or equivalent are highly desirable.

? Proven troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

? Excellent documentation and communication skills.

? Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.

Certifications:

? CCNA (Cisco Certified Network Associate)

? CCNP (Cisco Certified Network Professional)

? FortiGate Certification (Preferred)
