Position - Senior .NET Developer

Role Overview:

We are looking for an experienced Senior .NET Developer to join our POS team, reporting to the Technical Lead. The role involves participating in the complete software development life cycle, debugging applications, configuring existing systems, and mentoring junior developers. The ideal candidate will have deep technical expertise in Microsoft technologies and a strong problem-solving mindset.

Key Responsibilities:

Analyze and document requirements for system enhancements and business processes. Write clean, scalable, and testable code using .NET programming languages. Design and develop technical specifications and architecture. Test, debug, and deploy various .NET applications. Review, refactor, and optimize existing code. Maintain and upgrade legacy systems to improve performance. Prepare technical documentation and operational procedures. Provide guidance and support to junior developers.

Technical Competencies:

Strong understanding of OOP concepts, design patterns, and SOLID principles. Hands-on experience with C#, ASP.NET, MVC, Windows Services, Entity Framework, SQL Server/T-SQL, IIS. Expertise in REST APIs and WCF. Proficiency in web technologies: HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, AJAX, JSON, jQuery. Knowledge of modern practices like Responsive Web Design, LINQ, Dependency Injection, Design Patterns. Familiarity with development methodologies (Agile, OOD, TDD, BDD). Proficient with SDLC tools such as TFS, Visual Studio, SQL Developer, SSIS.

Qualification & Experience:

Education: BE / B. Tech / MCA / B. Sc. (IT) Experience: 5-8 years in Microsoft technologies
