We are seeking an experienced .NET Developer with a strong background in maintaining and enhancing legacy applications, along with growing exposure to AI-driven solutions. The role primarily focuses on legacy system development (approx. 75%) while contributing to AI integrations, modernization initiatives, and intelligent automation projects. This is a remote opportunity for professionals who can balance stability with innovation.
Key Responsibilities:
Maintain, enhance, and optimize existing legacy applications built on the .NET framework.
Analyze legacy system architecture and implement improvements for performance, security, and scalability.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate AI/ML capabilities into existing applications.
Work on AI-enabled features such as intelligent automation, data-driven insights, and predictive functionalities.
Refactor and modernize legacy codebases where required, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.
Participate in requirement analysis, technical design, development, testing, and deployment.
Ensure adherence to coding standards, best practices, and documentation guidelines.
Provide production support and troubleshoot complex technical issues.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
5+ years of hands-on experience in .NET development (C#, ASP.NET, .NET Framework/.NET Core).
Strong experience working with and supporting legacy applications.
Good understanding of databases (SQL Server or equivalent) and legacy data models.
Exposure to AI/ML concepts, tools, or integrations (APIs, models, or AI platforms).
Experience in integrating AI services into existing applications is a plus.
Familiarity with REST APIs, microservices, and system integrations.
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently in a remote setup.
Preferred Skills:
Experience in application modernization or migration projects.
Knowledge of cloud platforms and AI services (Azure AI, OpenAI APIs, etc.).
Understanding of DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
